Dr. Joel Evans

2001: Designs clinical study on Black Cohosh use with breast cancer patients.

In collaboration with the Oncology faculty at Columbia University Medical Center and Stamford Hospital, Dr. Evans helps design a clinical study on the use of the herb Black Cohosh in breast cancer patients, to see if it could help reduce hot flashes in women with breast cancer. The results were published in the American Journal of Clinical Oncology.
