In 2000, Dr. Evans was nominated for the prestigious Dr. Melville G. Magida Award. The award, the only one of its kind in Connecticut, is presented annually by the Fairfield County Medical Association and The Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Foundation. Now in its 25th year, the award recognizes a young physician, 39 years of age or younger, who has shown a notable capacity for patient treatment and care and a special sensitivity to patient-physician relationships.
