> Creating a Whole Pregnancy: Bringing Holism into Maternity Care
This workshop will provide the information so many women and health care practitioners seek—how to safely incorporate Holism into pregnancy care. Participants will learn about the wise use of nutrition, supplements, herbs, and mind/body/spirit medicine to achieve a safe and sacred experience of pregnancy, birth and beyond.
This seminar, which draws on both scientific literature as well as the experience of Dr. Evans, will provide participants with cutting edge content on natural approaches to both normal and complicated pregnancies as discussed in his new book, The Whole Pregnancy Handbook.
The goal of this intellectually and spiritually expanding seminar is to help build a community where caregivers as well as the women they care for join together in opening themselves to the miracles of pregnancy and birth.

> Healing Breast Cancer Holistically: The Science behind the Solutions
We all have an intuitive understanding of the health effects of how we live, whether it is the foods we eat or our exposure to environmental toxins. Yet we are bombarded with so much conflicting information that many of us find it difficult to separate fact from fiction. This program was designed to provide authoritative information, based on the scientific literature, on how Holistic Medicine can enhance the body's ability to heal from cancer. The scientific basis for the use of nutrition and supplements in the prevention and regression of cancer will be specifically discussed. In addition, the benefits of physical activity, Mind/Body Medicine, and spirituality as part of a comprehensive cancer treatment program will be well documented. Additional topics to be discussed include the toxins in our food supply, how to improve the body's detoxification pathways and a comprehensive evaluation of the controversy surrounding soy and cancer. Extra time will be devoted to explaining the important role of estrogen metabolism and Hormone Replacement Therapy. In addition, a state of the art Holistic treatment protocol for Breast Cancer will be discussed. This information will be presented in a way that is appropriate for both health care professionals and the general public. Anyone with cancer (present or past), those that care for them professionally and those that love them personally are all invited and encouraged to attend.
> The Magic of Menopause: Offered as a Full Day Retreat or as a Lecture
Facilitated by Joel M. Evans, M.D., and the Teaching Faculty of The Center for Women's Health
A seminar dedicated to educating women about the physical, emotional, and spiritual changes associated with menopause. Comprehensive discussions on natural hormone replacement therapy, bone health, nutrition, and choosing the right supplements for optimal aging will be based on the latest scientific literature. Additionally, the retreat format includes experiential exercises designed to assist each participant to gain insight into their own emotions and spiritual issues surrounding this stage of life. Please be prepared for small group sharing during the optional experiential exercises. Participants in either session can expect to develop a solid foundation on how to meet their individualized needs in order to make menopause a magical experience.

Making use of the latest scientific information, Dr. Evans will explain his successful protocol for the treatment of fibroids that can make surgery unnecessary. > The Wise Use of Nutrition to Combat Fatigue and the Effects of Stress
The overwhelming majority of healthcare dollars are being spent to treat acute, crisis illness, while the majority of today's health problems are a result of chronic diseases.

A lecture on Holistic Approaches to many women's health issues. The length of the program depends on the number of topics covered. Participants will learn about the use of nutrition, herbs, supplements and other holistic modalities in the treatment of endometriosis, PMS, painful menstruation, fibroids and breast cancer prevention.
> Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy
A lecture explaining the benefits and concerns of using Bio-Identical Hormones, including the use of genetic testing to help clinicians and patients make an informed decision about HRT.
> Mind/Body Medicine and Women's Health
A workshop filled with science for the mind, experiences for the heart, and healing for the spirit.
This seminar traces the history of mind/body/spirit medicine from the days of Hippocrates to the modern day uses of these techniques. Dr. Evans draws on his experience as a member of the Senior Faculty of the acclaimed Center for Mind/Body Medicine in Washington D.C. in leading this intellectually, emotionally and spiritually expanding seminar.
